As a Director and a Focus Puller, my uncle and I have spent countless years sipping on lukewarm, lackluster coffee from craft service. Whether we're working through the night, braving the rain or snow, or facing those dreaded 4 am call times with tight turnarounds, all we and the crew yearned for was a nicely balanced, freshly brewed cup of coffee.

Richard started brewing pour-overs from the back of the camera truck for the camera department, but soon enough, word spread like wildfire across the set. Before we knew it, our camera loader had transformed into our very own “Camera Barista”. The sight of joy on the faces of our fellow filmmakers inspired us to launch "Me & My Uncle’s Coffee.” 

Our journey began in Carpinteria, CA, at the quaint Rancho Delfino, where we cultivate Geisha coffee. From there, we embarked on a voyage of exploration, mastering all aspects from seed to cup and earning certification as Q Arabica graders.  Today, we proudly offer you a selection of specialty, small-batch coffees sourced from family-owned farms around the globe.
