Juan de Dios Castillo and his 4 siblings founded J&M Family Coffee, named after their parents, to support coffee producers. Initially selling their parents' coffee directly to international buyers, they expanded to help other quality-focused producers. They established the COOMULFAC cooperative to gain certification and improve community life. COOMULFAC members own small farms and use micro-mills for processing. J&M oversees quality control and traceability, ensuring better income for producers. Our Nicaraguan coffee is USDA Certified Fair Trade & Organic.
